Biography

Nazariy Pokhodylo was born on May 27, 1982, in Lviv.
In 1989 – 1999 he studied at the Lviv Secondary School No 53 with the depth study of English language, which he graduated with praiseworthy certificates of success in studying.
From 1997 to 1999 he studied in the Lviv Regional Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the fields of mathematics, biology and chemistry.
In July 1999 he entered the Faculty of Chemistry of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In 2003 he received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with honors, and in 2004 completed a full course of study at the university, received a diploma with honors in full higher education in the speciality “Organic Chemistry” and got a Master’s degree in chemistry, a chemistry teacher. He also received a certificate in a foreign language (in English).
In 2001 – 2003 he was trained as an officer at the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy in Lviv.
In 2004-2007 he entered the postgraduate course at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. After completing his studies he defended his dissertation on the topic “Molecular design of functional derivatives of 1,2,3-triazole and 1 H-tetrazole, obtained by reactions of cyclic azide addition”, and in 2008 received a candidate degree in chemical sciences (speciality “Organic chemistry”).
In 2012-2015 he studied at the postgraduate education program at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on the Faculty of Economics. He received a specialist diploma in Economics of Enterprise.
Since 2007, he has been a Junior researcher ( 2008), Assistant (2008-2010) and Senior Researcher (2010 – 2014) of the Department of Organic Chemistry at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
From 2014 to 2015 he worked as an auditor at Arterium Corporation PJSC “Halychpharm”.
In the years 2015 – 2016 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From June 6, 2015 to April 4, 2016 participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
In 2018 completed his habilitation and received Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree in speciality Organic Chemistry (Thesis “Organic azides as convenient building blocks in the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles”). Currently Leading Researcher of Organic Chemistry Department in the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
