Research interests

  • crystal chemistry of intermetallic compounds
  • crystal structure determination from single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction data, phase analysis
  • electrochemistry of intermetallic compounds
  • electronic structure calculations using DFT method and investigation peculiarities of chemical bonding

Biography

2005-2009 – studied at the Chemistry faculty of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, was awarded Diploma of Master with the highest honors with qualification “Master of Chemistry. Lecturer of Chemistry”.

2009-2013 – Ph.D. studies at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

2013-2019 – junior researcher at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry.

2014 – Succesfully defended Ph. D. thesis “On the interaction of zinc with IV group p-elements (Sn, Pb) and rare earth metals (La, Tb)” (special field: Inorganic Chemistry).

since July 2019 – researcher at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry.

Awards

2007 Personal stipend and Diploma of the winner of project “Let`s support education together” by charity “Klitchko brothers Fund” and Sun Interbrew Inc.;

Honorary diploma from the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine for great progress in education and scientific work;

2008 – 2009 Leonhard – Euler Stipend by DAAD, Germany.
2011 – 2012 One-year Stipend by President of Ukraine for Ph.D. students.
2012 – 2013 One-year scholarship for Ph.D. students, junior researchers and postdocs by DAAD, Germany.
2015 – 2016 6 months scholarship for postdocs by DAAD, Germany.
2017 – 2018 One–year post doctorate Visby scholarship in Lund, provided by SI, Sweden.
2019 The Prize of the regional state administration and the regional council for employees of scientific institutions and higher education establishments (universities, academies, institutes) of the Lviv region.
