Scope of the conference
SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
The conference will provide a forum to present and discuss new results on synthesis, crystal structure and properties of intermetallic and related compounds. The conference will take place in remote mode on a Zoom platform.
Previous editions were held in Lviv in 1971, 1974, 1978, 1983, 1989, 1995, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019.

A guided virtual visit of Lviv will be proposed on Monday, September 25, and a concert will be transmitted online on Tuesday, September 26.

Abstract submission
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Participants who would like to make a presentation (15 min oral or poster) are invited to submit an abstract (1 page A4) on any aspect of crystal chemistry (crystal structures, phase diagrams, physical properties, crystal chemical features, databases and software) of intermetallic and related compounds. Accepted contributions will be included in the book of abstracts, which will be available online and can be obtained in printed form from the organizers on request.
The abstracts must be written in English.
Please submit your abstract online by completing the Abstract Submission Form (one form per abstract). The text of the abstract should be prepared in A4 format with Times New Roman font 12 point, using single spacing (margins: top – 3.5 cm, bottom, left, right – 2.5 cm). A Microsoft Word Template can be downloaded and used as starting point.
The abstract submission form should be submitted before September 1, 2023. The presenting author will be informed about the decision of the organizing committee (oral presentation or poster) by September 4, 2023.
The authors, whose contributions are selected for poster presentation, are asked to provide a digital version of the poster (single sheet in pdf or graphical format, such as jpg, gif, tif, or png; file size not exceeding 10 MB) and submit it online, together with a Poster Submission Form (one form per poster), latest on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
The posters will be stored at the conference site with access provided to registered participants. Three poster sessions are planned, one on each day of the conference at 4 pm. You are kindly asked to be present online during the session that will include your poster, in order to answer potential questions from other participants. Please indicate in the submission form if you would like to make a short (max 5 min) oral introduction of your poster.
Proceedings
PROCEEDINGS
Proceedings will be published in the journal Chemistry of Metals and Alloys. An electronic version of the manuscript should be submitted to the journal office (chemetal@lnu.edu.ua; subject: IMC-XV proceedings) before October 1, 2023.

Participants should register online by completing the Registration Form before September 15, 2023. Registered participants who contribute with a presentation will receive a certificate of attendance (2 credits of ECTS).
A virtual conference desk will be open throughout the duration of the conference for information and general assistance.
